Female Genital Mutilation (FGM): For over thousands of years young girls have been robbed out of their God given right over their body parts. Young girls grew up believing FGM must be performed to curb their sexual desires. Mothers, as well, forced their daughters to go under the butcher knife believing it is for their daughter’s best interest. Fathers enforced it to ensure his daughter’s virginity would remain intact for the future husband and hence keep the honor of the family safe.

Many young girls have lost their lives from the excessive bleeding they shed after this barbaric procedure. Not only did they lose all the sexual pleasure during intercourse with their husbands, but they were destroyed psychologically without ever knowing the root cause of their sickness.
