She is the author of \u201cOut From The Shadow Of Men\u201d, a women activist, and a novice poet. \r\n\r\nLaila is a regular speaker @the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, the Golden Gate breakfast Club in San Francisco, the California State University in Monterey, and public libraries as well as book stores. \r\n\r\nLaila is also an interior designer, and a painter.
